Alexio Gustavo Gessa

New York City-based artist Alexio “Lex” Gustavo Gessa focuses mainly on horror and superhero-themed artwork. Drawing inspiration from such virtuosi as Frank Frazetta and Basil Gogos, Lex strives to keep his style varied according to the project at hand.

Educated at the renowned Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Art, Lex self-published his first comic at the age of 18.  He has worked on a variety of projects over the years. Lex has created fine art, comic illustrations, and original artwork for heavy metal band merchandise and trading card games.  

An avid artist of life, Lex is also a competitive bodybuilder.
